Description of the place
The Alexandrinsky Theater is also called the "National Drama Theater" and is located in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg. It was built for the Petersburg Imperial Troupe in 1832. It is distinguished by its imperial-inspired design, designed by the Italian architect Carlo Rossi. It is located on St. Nevsky Prospekt between the National Library of Russia and the famous Anichkov Palace.
