The Aljaferia Palace dates back to the eleventh century, and was the residence of the Bani Hood dynasty during the reign of Abu Jaafar al-Muqtadir, and the palace reflects the nobility of the Zaragoza sects, and the building is one of the few preserved monuments of Spanish Islamic architecture from the sectarian era, as it is considered along with the mosque and cathedral of Cordoba and the Alhambra , the three best examples of Spanish Islamic architecture, it is also worth noting that the palace is now used as the seat of the Aragonese parliament and guided tours are held.
