Description of the place
Rumaila Fort is located in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is believed to have been built in the early twentieth century. Its purpose was to protect the Rumaila settlement that existed in the area. Its structure consists of a rectangular tower surrounded by a defensive wall on nine sides. It has been completely restored in recent decades.
