Amalfi Cathedral, also known as St. Andrew's Cathedral, is a medieval Roman Catholic cathedral located in Piazza del Duomo in Amalfi and dedicated to St. Andrew whose relics are preserved in it. The cathedral was built in the ninth and tenth centuries, and parts of it were added and redecorated several times. It used elements of Norman Arabic, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Considered one of the main attractions of Amalfi, this cathedral is visited by thousands of tourists every year, leaving the visitor mesmerized by its grandeur and splendor.
