Amasya Museum
Amasya Archaeological Museum is located on Mustafa Kemal Pasha Street and the museum contains about 24,000 works, including artifacts, ethnographic, coins, seals, manuscripts, and mummies from 13 different civilizations. The museum consists of three layers; basement warehouses with laboratories, photography, and other service units; a basement hall with coin and antique galleries; and the upper room, where Seljuk, ethnographic, and mummified works of the Ottoman period are displayed, conference and exhibition halls, and handicraft departments that are on the verge of disappearing.
