Amsterdam Centre for Architecture

One of the oldest centers of architecture in the Netherlands, they are an institution founded in 1986 focusing on architecture, urban design and landscape architecture. The center covers the complete history of architecture and housing in Amsterdam. The center provides introductory tours and lectures given by the center's staff of specialists through the use of many informative means such as films and pictures. The center is located in a distinctive marine environment that gives it a special aesthetic and makes it a prominent tourist destination.
