Anavarza Ruins

The ancient site of Anavarza is an absolutely stunning archaeological landmark. The size of the ruined city is enormous, but what really makes Anavarza worth a visit is the stunning castle that sits atop the ruins. There is also a hippodrome, aqueducts, and the ruins of a Roman-era city gate, which are currently being restored. The road to the landmark is a bit bumpy but worth it. Bring water with you and enjoy this historical and archaeological marvel.
