Description of the place
One of the most famous architects in 16th century Ankara was Sinan who designed the Yeni Mosque. The building features a stunning design on the inside, with white marble covering the pulpit and prayer space while the outside is made of traditional Ankara stones. The edifice is the largest Ottoman mosque in the city. It has an amazing architecture that reflects the Ottoman civilization with all Islamic details.
