Ankara Castle

Ankara Castle is a distinctive Turkish historical spot, initially founded by the Galatians of the Hellenistic period on a hilltop in Ulus. The grounds around and inside the castle are the oldest parts of the city and thus a vivid example of architecture of different ages and nations. The region has changed a lot since ancient times. Today, it contains many cafes and restaurants serving traditional cuisine.
