Description of the place
The main objective of opening the Aquarium of the University of Murcia was to bring the highest educational and research institution in the region (the University of Murcia) closer to the general public, and to show certain aspects of the research work carried out by the team of biologists regarding this aquarium, as visitors are allowed to enjoy two types of ponds, One is the Tropical Aquariums, where the ecosystems of the Red Sea, Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea are represented and the other is the Mediterranean Aquariums.
