Aquincum Museum
Aquincum was a major Roman city located in the province of Pannonia within the present-day borders of Budapest. It was established after the Romans conquered the land as early as 400 BC. The ruins of the ancient Roman city were discovered at the end of the 19th century and are now one of the largest archaeological sites in Hungary. The city was rebuilt between 1960 and 1970 and is now called the Aquincum Museum; It is worth noting that what you will see in this place is part of the city, as it was much larger than it is today.
