The Institut du Monde Arabe, which is also called the “Institut Français du Monde Arab” is an organization founded in Paris in 1980 by France with 18 Arab countries to research and disseminate information about the Arab world and its cultural and spiritual values, where much information is studied and documented with regard to language and culture. History, religions, language and writing as well. The building was designed in a way that combines the Arab and Western cultures, as it contains many oriental mashrabiyas in its exterior design.
