Armenistis Lighthouse
Armenistis Lighthouse
The Armenistis lighthouse is located in the northwestern part of the island, above the nameless cape. It was decided to build the lighthouse when an English ship wrecked in the north of the island lost 11 crew members. The lighthouse was built in 1891. The house next to the lighthouse contains many rooms that house the current lighthouse keepers and often their families. The location is wild and offers panoramic views of Tinos and the Aegean Sea and you should not miss the beautiful sunset in the afternoon.
