Ash fountain
The Ash Fountain mediates the city of Kassel, where the huge fountain, which became an elaborate masterpiece in the city center, was donated in 1908 AD, and destroyed by National Socialist activists in 1939 AD. After the war, the fountain basin was converted into a flower bed and fountain. Today, nothing remains of this masterpiece. Only the low, close-to-ground sandstone frame of the fountain basin has been preserved. Today, the boundary stones stand as "ruins" some distance from the well. .
