The Asia and the Pacific Museum is an oriental museum in the city of Warsaw. It was founded in 1973 AD by a Dutch sailor who worked as a collector of oriental art. He donated his art collection to the Polish government, which numbered more than 3000 pieces. The museum includes many pieces that document oriental art in Asia and the Pacific, and has also expanded to regions of Australia and Oceania, and today his collection includes more than 20,000 pieces.
