Ataturk House & Ethnography Museum
Atatürk House Museum, known locally as Mehmet Matrasy Palace. This museum is located to the east of the city stadium and to the south of the main road, and the museum occupies a three-storey mansion that was built in 1921, and in 1924, Mustafa Kemal Pasha, the founder of Turkey, stayed in this house during his visit to Rize, and in In 1881, the owners of the house gave the house to the ruler of Rize for use as the Atatürk Museum, and the museum was inaugurated on December 27, 1985. On the ground floor are inscriptions and tombstones, on the first floor, there are traditional weaving tools, as well as other ethnographic items, and on the second floor Atatürk's memorial items, such as his personal belongings, and photos from the Turkish War of Independence are displayed.
