The Austrian National Library is the largest institution of its kind in the whole of Austria and is currently located in the Hofburg Palace. It has more than 7 million items in its collection, including many very old books, globes, maps and musical texts. The library also has one of the largest collections of signatures in the world. This national library is in the Baroque style, and includes amazing frescoes on its ceiling, and is considered one of the most beautiful libraries in the world.
