The Balaton Uplands National Park is a nature reserve that overlooks the northern banks of the picturesque Lake Balaton, and is one of the popular tourist attractions in Hungary. This national reserve extends over an area of approximately 56,000 hectares, and is interspersed with long hiking and climbing paths, natural caves, diverse plants and trees, towering mountains and volcanic hills, in addition to being home to many animals and birds. Visiting this stunning garden is like visiting an open-air nature museum.
