Ban Co Peak

Ban Ko Peak (Chessboard Peak) is a distinctive rocky peak overlooking the natural surroundings on the Son Tra Peninsula. It is named after the white stone statue sitting next to a large stone chess board. Legend has it that the reason for its construction The statue is of two fairies playing chess on top of Son Tra Mountain, and the game continued for several days without defeating either of them.
