Bekal Fort

Built nearly 300 years ago, Bekal Fort is considered to be one of the largest preserved forts in Kerala, as the fort stands in its full glory and grandeur to this day. It is one of the attractions visited by tourists and locals alike and definitely one of the most famous landmarks in the city of Kasaragod. This fort is surrounded by picturesque natural areas, and the fort provides a charming view of the Arabian Sea from the high watchtower, where the cannons were placed.
