Description of the place
It is an important archaeological site in the city of Tire. It is an ancient castle estimated to be about 200 years old. It was built to defend the city against the invading tribes from within. It includes towers of an unusual shape. It was closed for an extended period of restoration. The castle is distinguished by its ancient architecture, cobblestones and pointed heads. It is considered as a tourist destination in Sur by locals and tourists.
