Swimming in the Birken Forest lake is free of charge and offers cooling and relaxation on hot summer days. It lies southeast of Reinhausen in the middle of the countryside and is surrounded by picturesque meadows and fields. Swimmers can expect an artificially created pebble beach with ample areas for sunbathing and relaxing in the sun with trees, there is a car park directly next door and a small sandpit for children.
