Botanical Garden University of Debrecen

The history of the Botanical Garden of the University of Debrecen goes back 200 years. The former garden was a garden on the site of the Derry Museum - formerly known as Lake Bab - and the area was designated in 1807 by the then Debrecen City Council. The garden was under the supervision of the Correctional College and served for science education from 1844 to 1922. You can visit it and discover many types of plants and enjoy the beauty of the garden.
