Boukornine National Park is located in the Tunisian state of Nabeul, and covers an area of 1,939 hectares. It is also home to 500 species of plants (such as pine trees, cyclamen, Aleppo rice, wild lilies, etc.) and about 90 diverse species of animals that live in it and on its mountain slopes (such as reptiles). Birds, mountain deer, jackals, wild boar, porcupine, wild cat, red fox and wild rabbit), and it includes Mount Boukornine, which overlooks the wonderful Gulf of Tunis, at an altitude of 576 meters above sea level, and was once a sacred place in which religious rituals were held.
