Bremen Market Square

One of the oldest public squares in Bremen, the Market Square is a vast square covering an area of 3,484 square meters (37,500 sq ft). It is the center of commercial and tourist activity in the city, as it is home to many archaeological and historical monuments, including the famous Roland Statue. The square also includes many shops and old markets, the most famous of which is the Bremer Market. The square also hosts the annual Christmas market and some exhibitions of handicrafts and souvenirs.
