Bursa Museum of Migration History

The Migration History Museum was opened in Bursa, located at the eastern entrance to the exhibition area at the Merinos Atatürk Cultural Convention Center on November 07, 2014. It explains what migrations brought to Bursa and the prevailing situation in Bursa today. The museum also depicts the flow of immigrants to Turkey from everywhere. It tells its visitors the stories of people who left their homes and countries seeking security and stability and escaping from war 700 years ago. When you visit this museum, you will be able to get acquainted with the traditional costumes of the cultures who migrated to Turkey, and you will also be able to see matching bags that the immigrants carried while fleeing their countries, and many other subtle and distinctive details.
