Description of the place
Built at the beginning of the 16th century, Casa Xanxo is a house of art and history in Perpignan, reflecting the commercial success of Bernat Xanxo; A rich textile merchant, it is one of the few preserved Gothic houses in Perpignan, and displays a range of high quality decorations and carvings, in particular the frieze evoking the "seven deadly sins" and "hell", and has been classified as a historical monument.
