Diyarbakir Castle is a historic castle in Sur in Diyarbakir Province, Turkey. It consists of an inner castle and an outer fortress. The walls come from the ancient Roman city of Amida and were built by Emperor Constantine II in its current form in the middle of the fourth century AD. It is the largest and longest complete defensive wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. The building was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015.
