Castle Mosque

The Citadel Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Turkey, which was characterized by a typical Ottoman architectural design built under Western influence with a single entrance. The Baroque style affects the carvings on the entrance door, which consists of monolithic stone columns. The mihrab and minbar are believed to be original because they show the same period characteristics, and the curved and circular motifs across the entire surface of the mihrab are remarkable. As for the minbar, which is made of wooden material, it was made using the decoration technique.
