Castle of Laeken
Laeken Palace is the official residence of the King of Belgium and the royal family. It is located in the north of the capital, Brussels, in Laeken. It was built in the eighteenth century. It is surrounded by a large garden rich in plants called the "Royal Garden" or "Laeken Garden", which opens its doors to visitors during the summer. Today, the palace is one of the most famous tourist and archaeological destinations in the city, although tourists often visit it for the surrounding botanical garden.
