Description of the place
The castle garden was established in 1725, and it includes many charming landscapes, in addition to a protected area of 8 hectares that includes European brown deer and red deer. Putbus planted a group of foreign trees (more than 60 different types of trees) in it, and today the castle garden is one of the few protected gardens in Northern Europe, and one of the most beautiful gardens on the island of Rügen.
