Cava da Velha Bridge
The Cava da Velha Roman Bridge rises over the Laborero River in the heart of the Peneda Gerais National Park. It was originally built around the 1st century. It then underwent a series of restorations and renovations during the Middle Ages. It was converted into a bridge with a load-bearing plank and two arches. Peek from it at the pier of large slabs and stone screens that connect the two sides of the river to each other.
