Chabrouh Dam

Chabrouh Dam is located in the Lebanese village of Faraya - which is about an hour's drive from the city center of Jbeil - and the dam is 63 meters high with a capacity of 8 million cubic meters. The dam was designed for two main purposes: to provide electric power to the surrounding area and to recharge groundwater; Meanwhile, the water behind the dam formed a unique body of water. This place has become a destination for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts, as it is surrounded by stone mountains and filled with turquoise blue waters, as together they form a painting.
