Chantharakasem National Museum
Located on the west bank of the old Front City Canal, the Chan Kasem National Museum is housed in the Chan Kasem Palace in the northeastern area near Hua Ru Market in Ayutthaya. The palace is generally known as "Wang Na" or "Front Palace", as it was located to the east of the Grand Palace. It includes three buildings that include the permanent exhibits of the museum, such as the Chatramuk Pavilion Gallery, which displays the possessions of King Rama IV, and the Viman Rataya Gallery, which displays a collection of sculptures and artifacts. Art such as images of Buddha, and the Maha Tai exhibition covering five themes: "Ayutthaya Art and Architecture", "Ceramic Trade in the Ayutthaya Kingdom", "Ancient Weapons", "Buddhist Objects", and "Riverside Life in the Ancient Town".
