Chellah

The archaeological region of Chellah is considered one of the deposits of the historical city of Rabat, as it reduces between its walls different periods of the history of Morocco, starting with the Romans, passing through the Almohads after the Moroccans converted to Islam, and ending with the modern era. In addition to its historical richness, Chellah is considered a picturesque natural shrine, especially in the blooming spring As it contains one of the most important eyes of the water area, in addition to the presence of a group of tombs dating back to a period extending between the first century BC and the fourth century AD.
