Chouara Tannery

Dar Shuwara or Dar al-Dabbagh is one of the three ancient tanning houses in the Moroccan city of Fez, and it was built in the eleventh century, and it is the largest tanning house in the city. The old one, and Dar Chowara is considered a Moroccan-Arab treasure, and a landmark that beats in the center of the Moroccan city of Fez, the city that clung to leather tanning as a profession by which it maintained its distinction from other Moroccan and Arab cities, which made it a destination for marketing and façade of the authentic Moroccan and Arab heritage.
