Church of Our Lady of Remedy

The Church of Our Lady of the Cure is located on the slope of a high mountain that leads from the old town to St. John's Castle. It was built at the beginning of the 15th century, by locals who venerate the Holy Mother in gratitude for saving the city from a plague epidemic, but the first references are dated 1518. An older religious building dating from the 6th century, related to the early Christian period, was found in Result. Archaeological excavations. The walls of the church are decorated with paintings depicting the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary: the Nativity, Entry into the Temple, the Annunciation, and the Ascension to Heaven. When you visit the church, you can see the Bay of Kotor from it, and many picturesque landscapes.
