Church of Saint Stephen of the Abyssinians

Santo Stefano degli Abyssinian is a Roman Catholic church located in Vatican City. It is dedicated to Stephen the Protomartyr. It is considered the national church of Ethiopia. The liturgy is celebrated according to the rites of the Ethiopian Catholic Church. It is one of the only permanent structures in the Vatican that survived the destruction. Old St. Peter's Basilica, thus it is the oldest church in Vatican City.
