Description of the place
The Church of San Juan Bautista de los Bañites is located next to the remains of the Roman walls, and is distinguished by its leaning Mudéjar octagonal tower dating back to the sixteenth century. This Baroque Catholic temple replaced the destroyed church in implementation of the order of San Juan de Jerusalem As a result, it became the first Christian church consecrated in the city of Zaragoza.
