Church of the Conception

The Church of the Pregnancy is the largest temple on the island of El Hierro. It was previously built using simple materials of great height, which caused its collapse in 1796 and was replaced by the current church, which contains a bell tower with a distinctive facade in the style of the new Baroque era. It is a repository for a large part of the island's historical heritage. A stunning symbolic French watch donated by Dr. Gaspar Quintero.
