Church of the Holy Heart of Jesus

The Church of the Sacred Heart is the only Roman Catholic house of worship in the city of Podgorica, and the current building replaced a previous Catholic church that was destroyed by Allied bombs on May 5, 1944, as the Anglo-American air strikes on Podgorica began in October 1943 because the city was on the path of the withdrawal of the German army From Albania and Greece.
