Città Alta funicular

The funicular connects the lower city with the upper city in Bergamo. The train station was built in 1887 AD and previously used 3 cars to transport residents between the two ends of the city. The transportation method was renewed over the years until it was fully automated in 2008 AD. The train is about 240 meters long, and at a height of 85 meters, which enables you to see many of the city's landmarks while moving quickly between its outskirts.
