City History Museum

The City History Museum, a 150-year-old example of civil architecture that gives a new breath to the cultural life of Mersin, was restored by Mustafa Erim and integrated into the cultural and artistic life of Mersin. In this museum, the history of education and liberation of Mersin and the martyrs of Mersin who died in the Battle of Çanakkale are presented. Here you will see mosques, churches, Ataturk's visits to Mersin, Yumuktepe Hill and historical buildings, in a place that is the most comprehensive and most important in the world of culture.
