Description of the place
The red clock tower building is the first thing that catches the eye of tourists coming to the old fortress of Corfu by boat from the sea. Those wishing to explore the tower closely can climb one of the two stone stairs in order to reach it, as it is the highest spot in the castle. The tower is surrounded by a number of ancient ruins, stone ruins, and abandoned buildings that archeology and history lovers find great fun exploring.
