Colonna di Borso D'Este
The double marble column of Borso d'Este is located near the city's cathedral, and is a shrine dating back to 1452 AD. It consists of several layers of pink marble taken from crushed tombstones from Jewish cemeteries. It was built primarily as a base for the duke's statue, and served as an entrance Historic of the Ducal Court.
