Colored Canyon
The Colored Valley is a unique rock formation located in Nuweiba in South Sinai, two hours away from the city of Sharm El-Sheikh. The Colored Valley was formed as a result of the receding tide from the Red Sea. The minerals and rocks of the region were formed millions of years ago as a result of water erosion from sandstone and limestone. The length of the valley is 800 meters with palm trees lined on both sides, which provide hikers with a little shade during their path. It is worth noting that the colored valley is located in the limestone mountain range called “Al-Tayh”, where it was said that the Prophet Moses - peace be upon him - was lost for 40 years, which It makes it one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Sinai.
