Built at the end of the fourteenth century on the slope of Monte de Santa Luzia in the parish of Santa María Maior in Viana do Castelo, the Monastery of São Francisco do Monte was built at the end of the fourteenth century and was completely renovated in Renaissance style in 1554 with Preserving the original structure of the main church, and currently, only some ruins remain from the monastery, but they are definitely worth seeing.
