Cerro da Vila

Cerro da Vila is located in Vilamoura, an archaeological site that includes the ruins of an important Roman villa built between 27 BC and 14 AD. It was occupied by the Romans, Visigoths and Arabs, and many economic activities were developed in it, the most important of which is the production of "garum"; It is a canned fish that is exported to the entire Roman Empire, and this archaeological station also contains a small museum that displays ceramic and mosaic pieces that were found during excavations in the region.
