Croce di Citta
monument erected in 1541 in memory of the expulsion of the Calvinists from the Aosta Valley, the monument consists of a column about 6 meters high topped with a gray stone cross. Its base is decorated with religious symbols, inscriptions and hieroglyphs. The monument is located within a very lively square in the city, to which a stone fountain was added in 1841, and the fountain is surrounded by some ancient statues and sculptures. A group of shops, souvenir and handicraft shops, as well as some restaurants and cafes, spread in the square next to the monument.
