Description of the place
The Coin Museum in Daejeon is the first museum of its kind in South Korea. It was established in 1988 and houses modern and historical Korean banknotes, more than 120,000 coins, historical stamps, traditional clothing, antique gold, and many more. The museum also provides guides who speak several languages for those who wish to obtain a detailed explanation of the museum's holdings.
